Winter ONEderland

This has been a very odd winter. My gardenia topiary that I left outside all "winter" is still alive, my daffodils bloomed weeks ago and people at my office were wearing capri pants this week. The temperature has hit eighty the past two days yet I still have a closet full of wool to wear. It has been quite odd.

Perhaps that is why I really enjoyed making some wintry cookies last week for a friend's daughter's Winter ONEderland birthday party. The theme was snow and snowmen. It was a nice change considering that the weather seems to dictate a watermelon and bikini theme these days.

I went with snowflakes, snowmen heads and "snowy" number ones for the big event.
