Tween Trifecta : Twilight, Hunger Games & Harry Potter Cookies

Growing up, my parents referred to some of my TV show choices as "mindless television." Sure it was true, but I enjoyed those shows (and have a few "mindless television" favorites these days too.) It's also no secret that I am not ashamed to enjoy books found in the "Young Adult" section from time to time. They go in the "mindless reading" category and sometimes there is really nothing better.

It started with the Twilight series...

Then it was Hunger Games...

And though I have never read the Harry Potter series, it was only a matter of time until I was asked to make those books come to life in cookie form:

I knew NOTHING about HP but with the help of Google, I learned what the "Hufflepuff Crest" was, what "house colors" were and also a few key symbols from the books (owl, lightning bolt, Hogwart uniforms, etc.)

And while I don't think I will be diving into the actual books any time soon, I know how many fans there are out there so I loved creating the cookies. Thank you Mina!

Wishing you all a great weekend. Now on to Divergent cookies... :)
